Jasmin

Hospital Manager

Jasmin started nursing in 2000 after returning from college in England. She has worked at mixed practices and has experience in both small and large breed animals. Jasmin’s special interest is in canine reproduction, which comes from breeding and showing her own dogs.

Jasmin joined NWVS in 2011 and has been able to grow her interest and knowledge in reproduction since. She loves working closely with breeders and watching their puppies grow up.

In 2022, Jasmin was promoted within the nursing team to Head Nurse and is enjoying the new challenges and being more involved in the reproductive side of veterinary medicine.

In her spare time Jasmin loves to compete in eventing or showjumping her horses, or snuggling on the couch with her Staffie.

Sarah

Veterinary Nurse

Sarah was very excited to join the team at Nicklin Way Veterinary Surgery when she started in September 2021.

Sarah holds her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is studying her Certificate IV in Behaviour and Training with the Delta Institute.

Sarah likes to assist clients and the team here at Nicklin Way Vet with behaviour and training related concerns.

Sarah is keen to meet you with your new addition and help build bond between you and your dog in her puppy school classes held here at Nicklin Way.

At home she loves spending time with family and her fur family on her days off.

Meagan

Veterinary Nurse

Meagan started her veterinary nursing career in 2016 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Meagan has worked in both small animal hospitals and mixed practices. She has been with our Nicklin Way team since 2021. She is most passionate in surgical and medical nursing as well as the diversity and interesting cases that vet nursing offers.

On her days off you can usually find Meagan with her two horses; Huey and Nemo, riding and escaping out in the forestry, eventing, and show jumping. Meagan has a dog named Honey, a big goofball that also loves exploring and swimming in the creek.

Tori

Veterinary Nurse

Tori’s veterinary nurse career began in 2014, working in a large mixed practice on the Far South Coast of NSW before relocating to the Sunshine Coast with husband and two cats, Mocha and Alfie, in 2019. The fur family has since grown, with two goofy whippets named Rummy and Basil.

Since moving to the Sunshine Coast, Tori has gained experience working in a veterinary specialists and emergency/critical care centre whilst also working for the team at Nicklin Way Vet.

Tori’s favourite aspect of veterinary nursing is the treatment/diagnostic side where she feels she can use all of her knowledge and continuously expand her skills, caring for the hospitalised patients (and giving all the cuddles of course!).

Tori loves a challenge and keeps herself busy outside of work studying full time to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Science.

Tori looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Felicity

Veterinary Nurse

Felicity started my vet nursing career in 2020 in the small rural town of Stanthorpe, where she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Felicity moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2023 and worked in a specialist hospital for one year. Although gaining lots of knowledge and experience, she missed working in GP, and joined the team at Nicklin Way in 2024.

Felicity has a cat named Taffie, and grew up with lots of animals on her family’s sheep and cattle farm. This is where her love for animals began.

Outside of work, Felicity loves camping, exploring swimming holes and spending time at the beach.

Jorja

Veterinary Nurse

Jorja started working at Nicklin Way Vet in early 2022 as a kennel hand. She has now qualified with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Jorja has grown up with animals, and currently has two dogs, a lovely Huntaway cross and a silly yellow Labrador, as well as ducks and chickens.

Although Jorja loves seeing all the dogs and cats at Nicklin Way, she especially loves it when wildlife and exotic pets come in and is always excited to care for them. She has always loved animals and particularly loves birds, sea creatures, and horses.

Jorja loves being educated about animal nursing and watching surgeries, and enjoys working along with the amazing staff at Nicklin Way.

Hannah

Veterinary Nurse

Hannah’s veterinary nurse career started in 2022 after completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.  She has since gained valuable experience working in both emergency and GP clinics before joining the team at Nicklin Way Vet in 2025.

What Hannah enjoys most about vet nursing is caring for hospitalised patients and being part of a team that loves to help animals.

Hannah has a little dog called Fudge who she adores and loves spending time with. In her free time, she can often be found reading or relaxing at the beach.

Regan

Veterinary Nurse

Regan grew up on the Sunshine Coast and began her veterinary nursing career in 2017 before graduating in 2021. Prior to joining Nicklin Way Veterinary Surgery in 2024, she worked in both general practice on the Sunshine Coast and in internal medicine at a specialist referral centre, where she developed a strong passion for medical nursing and caring for a wide variety of complex and interesting cases.

She enjoys the diversity that veterinary nursing brings each day and is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to both patients and their owners.

Outside of work, Regan enjoys spending time traveling and exploring the coast beaches with Maple Bacon, her Golden Retriever.

Mischa

Veterinary Nurse Trainee

Mischa started vet nursing in 2023 and is still studying her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing.

Her love for animals started at a young age and she knew that vet nursing is the job for her. Mischa is excited to further her knowledge and career at NWVS and loves meeting our clients and their pets!

Mischa has a crazy French bulldog at home and also owns an old horse who spends his days relaxing in the paddock. On her days off she continues with her studies and likes to go to the beach or visit her horse. Mischa also has a big interest in travelling and can’t wait to see where her career will take her.
